Default Good news dealer story -

It's been said that bad news travels around the world before good news get its shoes on.

Good News: Pennsylvania has a generally good safety inspection and a rather perfunctory emissions test. Can run as high as $120 a year. When I was a teenager, it was twice a year to boot!

I made an appointment with Porsche of the Main Line - no emergency as my stickers expire end of next month. The appointment was set for a week out and they told me they were willing to pick up my car. It's a 45 minute drive and I really did not want to hang out in the "toy store" with unsold cars gently whispering my name...

They arrived 8:00 am yesterday and returned the car a few hours later.

I called the service manger to pay for the inspection - he had already comped it. While I had them service a part inaccessible to me recently, I am by no means a high spender in their service department.

A most surprising and pleasurable experience.

POTML was my dealer for years, along with Jesse Facer as my SA. Good group, very good experiences. My TTS is modded and they had no issue and were careful during service not to corrupt the tune. And they did comp the inspection.
Not all dealers are from the depths of Hell.

I've never paid for inspection or emmissions at POTML. Always a great experience with their service department.

+1on my experiences with them. Have only used them for inspection and warranty work (leaking water pump), but they've been very accommodating to loaners, pickup delivery, etc. They also comped my inspection.

Great to hear. Always good to know who the good dealers are out there. They need more publicity.
