Mine is a 16 Lariat. What is the VCT? Have you noticed any cab leaks on yours? I have had a 14 and 15 that both had sunroof leaks. So when I bought the 16 I went no sunroof.
It's the variable camshaft timing solenoids. Started sounding awful on cold starts... Almost like a diesel for the first 1-3 seconds.
No cab leaks so far, and we do have the sunroof on ours. And it goes thru a car wash regularly. Really we've had no major problems with it minus the VCT thing. And we drive the crap out of it, obviously at nearly 63k miles, since it's our work truck.
My Rumble Bee and LIM3ROK
Rumble flies stock.
LIM3ROK roars a bit more due to Dinan elbow and an Eventuri plenum, which accentuate the already throaty V8!

having owned both of these I can say with out a doubt these are two of the absolute best sounding motors on the planet! Great pair!

If I may ask, why the name on the BMW. I've raced and driven LRP for years.
Loving all the combos here. I just leased a gladiator for a ridiculous steal to go along side my 991.1. Wont post it until its lifted with wheels/tires, they look pretty pitiful stock hahaha

Thank you sir! It's a constant struggle to decide whether the GTS or the M3 is the better car.
The M is more comfortable and the sound theatrics are great. The Carrera on the other hand is dialled up and a total scalpel!

It's a limited "Lime Rock Park Edition," 1 of 200.
Nothing "special" or "more" than the normal E92 M's, other than the bright orange paint and parts bin carbon fibre.
