HI all-
Looking for some advice/recommendations on where to take my 2014 Turbo for a few upgrades. Any suggestions on shops that come highly recommended? Thanks in advance.
I’d highly recommend giving Omar a call, at Intersport in McLean. His shop came highly recommended by the local chapter of PCA, when I was seeking a PPI in the area. He spent a long time on the phone w me, and I was really impressed with his knowledge (as well as the caliber of cars he has in inventory).

+1 on Omar and the gang at Intersport. They are by far the best independent shop I’ve dealt with in the DMV for both my 928GT for the past 10 years as well any non-CPO work for my recently acquired 991.1 C4S.
20 years ago when I lived up there he actually came to my house to bypass a relay on a 928. Great crew and they love what they do.

I had great luck, before I fled NOVA, with https://chapmanautowerks.com/ Couple of PPIs and service with them. Good guys and will shoot straight based on my experience. Good luck!
As it currently stands, Intersport has opened the new larger facility in Ashburn but the McLean/Tyson's shop is still open and they plan to keep it open as long as the landlord agrees. Real estate in that area is expensive or lucrative depending on which side of that equation you occupy. But again, from what they tell me, they plan to keep it open as best they can and I hope they succeed.

Another thumbs up for Omar and Intersport. Did a solid PPI on my 991.2 and also spent an enormous amount of time on the phone with me and online at the Mannheim auctions trying to source a ‘perfect’ makeup prior to my purchase. I’ll be doing all scheduled maintenance there.
