Anyone on here going to Treffen?

 

I will be there - I will be part of the tour team to BoD on Thursday and New River Gorge Friday. I'll be in a triple black 991.1S.

We have the same tours. What are the odds? Same color car as well but a .2 base cab.
I assume you're having dinner at Prime 44 West on Wednesday and touring the Bunker Saturday morning at 10AM...

 

I've already went out to do some dry runs as part of the event prep, and I Think these tours will be awesome (best tours of Treffen, IMO) - hopefully the rain will hold off until after. Funny - we had reservations for Prime 44 on Wed, but cancelled them last night. No bunker tour for me, either. Going to get some hiking in, weather permitting....

 

I researched the tours as best I could from afar and thought those were the two best combinations of driving and places to stop at. I told my wife I don't care if it rains every day as long as it isn't cancelled.

 

I think you got on the right tours...are you bringing a Pcar, or a rental? Im assuming you'll be in your cab?

Cool - you might want to grab the driving directions for the other tours and check them out on Sat or Sun...they are pretty good too... See you guys in a couple of days -

 

After the last two Treffens, were doing our own runs. Will be in the main dining room Wednesday, Italian restaurant on Friday. Bunker tour Saturday.

 

I have low expectations for the tours and have enjoyed the four we've been on overall. We went to Asheville in 2017 and Vermont last year. Our favorite PCA events by far.
Yep, Forum Friday and bunker Saturday. I think we're 6:30PM for dinner and I know bunker is 10AM. You?
I'm becoming somewhat optimistic it won't be cancelled. House/cat sitter lined up and ready for duty. Outside painters should finish up while we're away. They've done a great job so far - looking forward to the finished product.

Despite the rain, I thought the drive was excellent...at least the rain kept the traffic to a minimum today!
