Should I sell my 2016 991.1 GTS?

Hey guys, I’ve had my 991.1 GTS for sale for about two months and recently got an offer of around $110K for it. That’s about $5K less than what I was willing to take. The car has less than 4300 miles, I’m the original owner and had a sticker of $123K. Considering the offered price, current market conditions and being relatively rare with the 7MT and last of the NA engine with low miles, should I accept this offer? I’m in absolutely no rush to sell and in fact won’t mind holding on to it a little while longer because I don’t plan to replace it until next year. Thanks!

If your long term desire is to have a 991.1 gts 7mt, then this may be hard to replace as you bought new and spec’ed how you liked.
But you indicated you want to replace in a year, so if you intend on selling, I’d have to agree with others that this is a compelling offer.

Whatever happens, I hope that car gets DRIVEN as it is a phenomenal car and it belongs on the road! I have 44,000 miles on my 2016 GTS and I am just getting started.

Thank you guys for all your replies! I highly respect the members on this forum and the valuable advice you guys give. The overwhelming consensus is to take the offer, which I plan to do. Thanks so much again for helping me with this decision! The 991.1 is a unique car and I think in the future it will be as desirable as the 993.

Good idea to take the offer. You did well, all things considered.

Unless you are located in an unusual market where used 911s command premium prices, that is a very generous offer. Jump on that like a duck on a bug.
Ten months ago, I paid quite a bit less for my used 2016 GTS from a Porsche dealer. The original owner had just traded it in on a sedan. MSRP was more than $137K and the odometer had fewer than 2,800 miles. The previous owner had PPF installed too.

+1 to this. How did you come to the conclusion that $115K would have been the right number? That would have you driving a 5 car for 5 years at a total cost of $8K. Was it the 7MT?

Well back in 2016 nobody was paying MSRP for a 991.1 - or at least they shouldnt have been - so more like $117 sale price.
$115K asking price seems like insanity and someone willing to pay $110k sounds like a dream. Hope you sell it before you wake up.

RAREST 911 GTS in the world...one selling at $20k more than its worth lol
Jokes aside (and your car is lovely) - agree with the others here. Doubt you'll get a better price than that until the car is a classic...and by that time the service/maintenance/insurance costs will probably still negate the profit. Heck you can get a used GT3 for that price (albeit with more mileage and perhaps less provenance).
Cheers,
NF
