Just a question like that. My car is JBM but I used to love the BBM from memory as it was very sparkly in the sun.

Does anyone know what the real difference is, if there is any? I know JBM has a bit of blue flake.

I have a 2015 C2S Jet Black metallic 911 and was told that JBM replaced Basalt Black in 2015. Its a really nice color in the sun has a purple/ blue tint to it and at night looks black. To answer your question Basalt black doesnt look as blue to me.
