Default Value of a 2018 Carrera 4 GTS

Hi everyone-

I haven't been in the 991 forum for a while. How is the 991.2 GTS market these days? Not that many all wheel drive GTSs around. Trying to gauge the market before I trade her in. Absolutely love the car, but I need to make room for a new RS6 Avant. I'll get a tax credit on the trade in PA.

Specs:

GT Silver
PDK
18 ways - heated and cooled
Rear wheel steering
Sport Design spoiler
Lane change assist
Keyless entry
Sunroof
Partial PPF and full ceramic by Oakes Detailing
9,500 easy miles.
Car is virtually in showroom condition (computer will show I never once activated launch control).

MSRP was $147k before PPF/Ceramic

Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I'd guess in the 105-110k range.

There is really 0 data in Manheim for 2017-2019 4GTS cars. Unless this is a Porsche/Audi dealer they are going to have a fun time figuring this one out. There is 2wd coupe GTS data and that points to around 103k at auction. Figure about 8-10k (at auction) delta for AWD vs 2wd. 110 at the low 115 at the high on trade. Please let us know how the RS6 goes....When do you expect delivery?

On a trade-in, I imagine you'll end up below $100K, but wait and see what happens as you negotiation. Private market will get a higher price, but may not offset the tax benefit of a trade in. Good luck with it either way!

The Audi dealership is owned by the same group that owns the Porsche dealership I use. The ETA for the RS6 continues to be a moving target. Hopefully, it will be here mid October.

I’d probably just keep the car at that number. Hard to assess the value of the AWD versions. Not many out there and very little pricing data.

Pretty car. Interested in selling to a forum member? I know you want the trade in credit. If you are PM the sticker.

105K I guess. Dealer won't pay you extra because the car is GTS trim. For customer, yes the dealer will charge you more because GTS is less "depreciated". But for trade in, GTS just depreciate the same as other trims in the dealer.

Is it possible for you to bring in the buyer so have a 3 way deal done? you get more than dealer trade in & keep the tax saving

My dealer would definitely arrange a courtesy transfer. CPO is an option as well.

I would probably sell it for $110k if I found a serious buyer, but it would have to go through the dealer for the tax credit.
