How did this conversation go from a discussion of aesthetics to an autobiography of who is the fastest?
Someone is projecting a lot of insecurities.
The year is 2020 and we still have a lot of toxic masculinity and alpha male bull**** apparently.
OP wanted to share something with the community. They weren’t asking for feedback. Dicks are just going to be dicks.

Back to the OP, I looked at the Heritage option on the Targa Configurator...$185K Base. Only 5 Exterior Color options (Guards Red, Black, Cherry Metallic, GT Silver, Chalk, & , 2 interior options.
Not impressive. I'll Pass.

I think the OP was implying his car looked like a Heritage edition because it's got meatballs on the door. I can say that I don't really appreciate them on either car. If you're at the track...maybe, but never on the street. Shoe polish works fine for me. Just sayin'...

It is a shame that everyone in this country feels obliged to give their opinion even when it is negative and achieves nothing. Remember what your mother said, "if you dont have anything nice or constructive to say"... oh wait that right your mother forgot to tell you that which is why we live in a messed up world where everyone is constantly negatively engaged. Try to make 3 people feel positive today for no reason and see what happens.

I know guys who keep their track numbers on their Porsches and nobody has a problem with it.
Mine is sort of a heritage edition.
Porsche built 'em to celebrate Porsche's endurance racing tradition. I love it, but many hate it.
To each his or her own!

I sort of like the look if the car has a theme or a reason to wear a number .

I don't mind the look. I'm planning to do something similar because I'm tired of having to apply painter's tape at every track day. Will I look like an a-hole on the street? I guess to some people, but I try not caring too much about what strangers think of me.
