Default Dr. Colorchip....

Hi all I purchased squirt and squeegee kit for my new to me 991...

I had many small stone marks on the hood....

Im not a photographer so sorry no pictures.... The chip marks where so small, but I can tell you that it was worth every penny, the hood looks amazing...no touch up marks, I often cant even see where some chips were touched up..

A little difficult at first to understand how it works, Im very Mechanical but not much of an Artist...lol but I was able to repair the chips amazingly so with this kit...

I know there are previous threads...Just thought I'd pass it along...

It's a great system and easy to use. Definitely can still tell chips are there but protects the paint and makes them less noticeable.

Its not.... the worst you can do is remove all the touch up paint and start all over again, like I said you learn as you go, Im not a body paint guy never have been , but I was able to do it..... not much different than removing wax from your car...

I used it on a couple door chips on my 14 Panamera 4S but I used it very sparingly. I didnt have the ***** to wipe it all over the door for fear of making a big mess outta a couple chips.

You can wipe it all off with the Seal act.... I thought the same at first when I put it on a small section of the hood.... I said to myself what did I do??...lol, but shortly figured out the Seal Act will take it all off, may require a little muscle grease, but it will come off....

I used up a couple of Dr Colorchip kits on my Midnight Blue Metallic Boxster that I bought CPO with very mild road rash on the front bumper cap and hood. The first time I was amazed. Over succeeding years, with more rash, using the kit was less amazing. It always improved things but at some point the paint damage, ahem, patina, is too severe for simple touch up.

Of course nothing lasts forever... would also be dependent on many things, If it were garaged driven a lot, how well you keep it, etc...
