I say go aftermarket. Even if you find a used PCM, you still won’t have CarPlay but you will have an ~8-year old head unit.

Ditch the PCM and go with an android unit like the Chstek unit. The screen is way more responsive, and it come with AA and CP. You can also load any android app onto it that you want. It is really easy to install and hook up camaras to. Costs is about $500. Alot of us have done it with no regrets. They don't look like aftermarket units. A couple of members even created a manual for it with tips and tricks of hookup and setup that we have learned. Check out this really long thread about them. You can skip ahead to around page 158.

Is there anyone on the forum that does factory coding, so I do not have to pay the dealerships labor rate of nearly $250 an hour? I just had my 3.1 PCM repaired/upgrade with car play and I need factory programming to make the original nav and start up silhouette of the GT3 show up on start up. I do not plan to use the factory nav now that I have car play but it would be nice to have it working like it should.

Wondering if anyone can do it remotely for a better price on the side?
