Bought a new '19 C4S manual a year and a half ago. I've put 11k miles on it and perfectly happy.

Power is there and then some. A very involving experience. I will leave it stock for now. Even gets 30 MPG on the road driving at 80 MPH and up.

I agree with OP with cars and the Florida sun, mine are all garaged and out of the sun (located in central Florida). My Porsche is quite tight and quiet so far.

Yes 991.2 base is a game changer for base model 911s, underpower is a thing of past & it's pretty much what most of the 911 crowds need/can handle on the streets

As someone who has spent the last 50 years owning at least one Porsche (I just bought #45), I can tell you there are a great deal of things you can you to one if you have the time and money. In my garages there are many cars (I've owned as of today 485 cars) including a one of a kind 997S manual (with 500K invested in it). Though Porsche dealers call it a kit car (it only has 25% of it original parts), I call it my creation. Weighing only 2116lbs with over 650 HP and no traction controls it is about the scariest car I have ever driven. I have been taking cars apart a redesigning them for a very long time. Had 2 modified (and turned into RWD 996tt) one of the first 800 Gallardo's built (modified and turned to RWD that car was terrible in AWD), and I have even modified some of my Ferrari's (much to the surprise at the time of that group). To me cars have always been adult tinker toys, just machines and every machine can be made better. I am now looking for another Alfa 4C (this time a spider) that I intend to take apart and put a different engine and interior in. There are so many things you can do to any car to make it better for you. When I test drive a car I don't see what it is I imagine what it can be. I guess it is the writer in me (I write fiction novels), but every car is just something else I can create.. You could also try a Lotus Evora 400, I enjoyed mine, great gear box and an amazing car to drive even stock.
