Upgrade
I'm ready for an upgrade, I've owned several 911's and need some advice from the forum. My previous cars were a 2000 carerra cabriolet, a 2003 turbo x-50, and now a 2008 carerra S cab. It will be a weekend car, likely not tracked, and I'm committed to a manual transmission as I get more enjoyment out of it. I've driven the GT3 on a track with the PDK and while the transmission is certainly better for the track, I still prefer the manual for street driving.
Budget is 85-100k and I am leaning towards a 2015-2016 GTS. I haven't driven one yet but seems like the best choice for the budget. Thoughts? Here is the best example I can find, there doesn't seem to be very many for sale at any given time.

Can't go wrong with a 991.1 GTS only other options i can think of would be a GT4 in the same range or for a bit more either a 991.2 GT3 manual or a GT3 touring.

Yeah that GT3 touring is going to be more than a "bit more." So, is the manual 991.2 GT3 for that mater. Although, the Touring is probably the ideal car given the OP's criteria.

Three Wheelin'
Id jump into a 991.2 S or 4S over the 991.1 GTS if you ask me.
For 105K you can get into a 991.1 Turbo too. Id get that over a 991.1 GTS as well.
Coming from a 991.2 GTS owner. lol.
Heres that 105K 19k miles turbo.

been shopping for 911.1/2 for a buddy of mine the last couple days, drove probably 10 cars, couple .1/s, a base 4, an S, S cab, and a GTS, and the .2 is a big improvement in my opinion in every way besides sound. for your price point you can get a very nice 17/18 Manual S or .1 turbo

I am in camp NA but I do think a 991.2T would be worth at least considering and taking for a test drive since I'm assuming you're not into cabs.
Value wise - I think the S is a better value at the moment as the premium for GTS outweighs the benefits to me and the extra power is all top end. That GTS in the link appears to be a really strong deal and I'd wager won't last long... Nice cars priced fairly don't sit so be prepared to move once you find what you want.
