Default What service is due on 991.1 GTS

2015 GTS

It was in a year ago at the dealer at 17.5k miles. Invoice says it got the following...

You can see what was done last time. “10K C PERFORM 1 YEAR OR 10 (Tech 675, 0) Complaint: GUEST STATES PERFORM OIL AND FILTER CHANGE Cause: PERFORM OIL AND FILTER CHANGE Correction: PERFORMED 10K SERVICE PER MANUFACTURE GUIDELINES”

Now a year later with 20k miles it’s due for a service. Dash says “interim service”

based on that information is it just due for an oil change? Or some other scheduled service and maintenance?

Thanks!!

Interim is just a oil change and filters. I believe a few items are cleaned out (front air coolers, etc.) and the sunroof if applicable is re-greased. The major which is more expensive is a flush of brakes and other items I believe. For the interim you should be around $900-$1,300 I think as they always find a latch or a spoiler that needs a new part to work as designed.

Interim service is the 20K service

There was a thread about 20K service just a few days ago, good info there

You maybe also due for 4 year service if not done already.Chances are that it was not done on a low mile car

I agree, I have a 2015 GTS and had to do my 4 year service last year, had them add the serpentine belt to the work.

Correct ^^. It’s time for a major due to time not mileage

A 20k service consists of oil/filter change, cabin air filter, and brake fluid. Additional service includes cleaning radiator and lubrication for hinges and roof sliders.

Thanks all...seems like brake fluid flush is part of this one as well. I always have don the dealer. They want $1300-$1400 for this. My very reputable Indy Porsche repair shop (does work on my other, older P-car) can do it for a lot less...Thoughts?

As an Indy, go with the indy! For brake fluid replacement I'd encourage you to find a shop that does track prep or tracks their own vehicles as brake bleeding is something they will have a lot of experience with.
