Default Sportdesign mirrors

Hi all, my 2013 has the sportdesign kit (front bumper , ducktail, steering wheel) but I’m missing the mirrors.

Was the mirrors a separate option from the package ? Or was it not available in 2013?

I’m itching to complete the kit with the mirror but not sure if it’s worth the money as I’ve seen them for big money online.

Anyone here did this retrofit ? Where did you buy the mirrors?

Picture of my car, my mirrors came painted. Should i leave them alone ?

I am of fan of the sport mirrors. I have them on my car. That being said, these painted ones you have look great. I would just leave them.

Thank you! Yes I’m on the fence cuz as much as I like my painted mirrors , I feel the sportdesign ones would complete my kit.

Was your mirror oem ? Or add-on after?

Yours look good - I didn't care for the black plastic bit underneath but you addressed that. Cost would probably decide it for me...but on the plus side for you now, your mirrors fold in. Sports Design do not.

I don’t think my mirrors can fold. At least I didn’t see that function... yet lol

Yes you would reuse all your hardware. all the retrofit options require this, unless you get a full set off a wrecked car. There are youtube videos of guys who have done retrofits of 991 mirrors. I think I saw one of a turbo one time.

Nice to hear we can reuse our oem glass & motors . Then why do we need coding from the dealership?

My car has no button for folding mirrors.
