Default Launch control

Hey. Trying to get a definitive answer on how to launch Control. I feel like one time I did it and the car flashed a message to the effect of “launch control ready”...:though I can’t duplicate it again. Is it sport mode or sport plus mode? PASM set to sport or off? Thanks! 2017 CS

I can confirm that the above method worked perfectly. I think one of the tricks to it is just mashing down the throttle, all the way, quickly. I wasn’t doing that previously. So much fun!

I've only tried this once (haven't had any available roads to test it out) but I didn't mash down the throttle either, so nothing happened. Looking forward to trying it again.

What button? You activate Sport Plus with a button on the 991.1 and with a dial on the 991.2.

when you say “the button”...my mind goes to the button in the middle of the drive mode dial on the steering wheel. The one you press to get like 20 secs of max power, for passing mustangs and Tesla’s.....if that’s it, then, no. We don’t press that button at all for launch control.

No sport chrono here. Launch control works with just "Sport" selected tho.
