To my surprise, my dealer just informed me that my 2013 991 Carrera S (which is in the shop for other issues) has 2 new open recalls. One has to do with replacing or adding an exhaust heat shield, and the other to replace a fuel leak detection module. That's all I know right now. I was surprised, because (1) I regularly check the Porsche recall site and no recalls are listed (in case you've never checked for your car, go here: https://recall.porsche.com/prod/pag/...f/VIN?ReadForm), (2) I haven't seen any posts about these recalls (could have missed them, though - this is a large thread); and (3) a factory recall for a 7 year-old car is the last thing I'd expect to hear about from my SA. As soon as I learn more, I'll post.

This has previously discussed. Many have responded, it may be worth your while to look for the responses.

You don't see it on the Porsche "recall" because it is not really a recall, rather a service campaign.

I like that service advisors are actually calling customers vs. just sending a letter.
