Steering Wheel Code
Hi guys, I had an independent shop replace a steering wheel sensor to get rid of a bunch of error codes.
Problem is, they didn't have the right equipment to reprogram the steering wheel properly. Paddles don't work, nor does the select lever or cruise control.
I am trying to avoid having to go to the dealership 50 miles away. Is there a way to get the code for my particular wheel?
It is a 2013 C4S and the wheel is identical to the one in this picture:

Sorry for digging up an old thread. Would love for your help, although I am in CA. Bought PIWIS and have been messing around with it but I can't seem to figure out how to enable the PDK neutral on my new SD wheel. Did you just add it (checkmark the install) in under "Maintenance of Vehicle Data"? Thanks for your help
I'm interested in getting a code for my 981, I've just replaced the steering wheel and Porsche have refused to supply me with a code as I didn't get the wheel from them.
Can you help or point me in the right direction please. Happy to pay.
Simon.
