Hey everyone,
I've been doing a few track days in my 2019 C4S and have leather seats. My body has been taking an absolute beating as I'm being tossed around the car... A few fellow track members suggested that I should lock the seat belt and pull it snug to hold me into my seat. For whatever reason I can't seam to get the seat belt to lock. With most cars you can pull the belt all the way out then it will lock and ratchet itself back in. Is this not the case with Porsche? Anyone know if this can be done?

1: Move your entire seat rearward a couple of inches from your driving position.
2: Buckle your seatbelt normally.
3: Let the belt retract, pressing yourself into the seat as much as possible.
4: Quickly jerk the shoulder strap downward with your right hand (non-UK). I mean fast. It will lock after an inch or so, DON'T LET GO. Hold the belt in that position.
5: With your left hand, move your seat forward to your driving position. The belt will tighten as you do so.
As long as there is outward pressure on the belt's ratchet it will stay locked.
An advanced move is to twist the buckle once before you insert it into the latch, therefore locking the waist portion

An old autocross trick is to move the seat back past your desired position, twist the belt and buckle one turn, insert into latch, and move the seat forward to add some tension.
