It might look good, but paint will scrape off and magnify every little scuff. Carbon fiber damages easily, and turns yellow in sunlight of parked outside often while facing the sun. The black plastic ones look good and are easist to maintain, and don't need more frequent painting and replacement like the first two.

1. Can’t remove the piece by the wheel well as it’s going to leave a gap where it sits into the lip. I contemplated this also.
2. It’s not carbon but black reinforced plastic. It’sa little rigid.
3. I had to paint the edges on the outermost part of my carbon fiber diffuser since it was damaged in shipping. Essentially the middle and lower part is carbon and the wings on the edge around the tail pipes had to be smoked black after repairing it.
4. I scraped the heck out of it coming out of a driveway one day and the bottom fins closest to the middle of the car got some cosmetic damage.
5. I need to lower the car and put some wheels on it but also contemplated selling it so stuck in limbo. When my projects get completed I get bored and adopt a new one to play with. Prior to the GTS was my 2018 GT350R. Might try a Aston or even go JDM and get a R34 or Silvia to mod. Even looked at 997 GT3 (had a 997.1 launch edition I modded in 2007) or 964 to stay in Porsche family.

If I ever damage it someday , I will follow your great idea to paint it black as we can’t buy a replacement. I love this style.

I have front Techart CF spoiler, CF side splitters and CF rear diffuser on order for my 991.2S narrow body
The CF on all pcs should match up nicely, I will be painting front spoiler white leaving the lower part in CF
waiting time is the killer

which rear diffuser is this ?
Who makes this diffuser? I am on a mad search for a CF diffuser for my 991.1 GTS and have had no luck. I am being told by some people that the narrow and wide body share the same fit but by another that they are different, this one here would solve my issue.

vorsteiner rear diffuser. but as mentioned earlier in the thread, it's been discontinued for while now. the rear diffuser piece is same for nb and wb 991.1

Hey Guys
I have a 2017 S Cab in Carrera white metallic. I just had the techart front spoiler and side skirts painted and installed by a local Porsche dealer. I went to pick the car up today and to my surprise the paint doesn't match, it is a much brighter white, almost making my carrera white metallic look a little off white in comparison. I only have 4k miles on my car and it is stored in a heated garage and never parked outside, so it is like new. The dealer said they used the right paint code....what could have happened?
I left the car there for them to hopefully figure something out
