991.1 Source button does nothing and Map question.
New to me 991.1 Carrera S. Searched and couldn’t find anything.
I followed the video tutorial from Porsche for my car. Pushing the “Source” button is supposed to give you the audio input options. My source button doesn’t pull anything up. It doesn’t “move” when you press it either. Is there another way (I have multifunction wheel) to call up or scroll through the audio input options?
Also, on startup, my Map screen defaults to zoomed out all the way. Zooming in does not center the map on the car icon. Is that the way it is supposed to work?

If the button doesn’t move when you press it, that means it’s stuck. Most likely because a sugary drink was spilled on the PCM. Are any of the other PCM or HVAC panel buttons ‘stuck’ or hard to press?
It sounds like your button is stuck or broken. It should move when you press it. It should bring up the choices as you describe. Try using a small amount of electrical contact cleaner to see if you can free it up. As for the map, I believe mine defaults to the last setting (once you acknowledge the warning) but I don't really use it that much.

Actually, the button below the source button was stuck too. I pressed it really hard and it popped and now it moves. I’ll try the contact cleaner. The Source button has no give at all so it must be gummed up good.
