2013 C2S. I've noticed an issue with my right mirror that after a few days of non-driving and then coming out to take her for a spin, the right mirror is slightly misadjusted and pointing to the floor. And it's not by a drastic amount but enough to where I have to make an adjustment. To be honest, I haven't really noticed a change during a drive of a few hours, that the irregularities, the bumps of the road are causing it. Anyone have a similar experience and/or a solution to my problem? Thank ...
2012 C2s here. Can you confirm if you park your car in reverse, or the last gear you use to park your car is reverse?
Reason for my question: It used to happen to me too. I realized that when I put the car in reverse and the mirror dips, it takes a while for the mirror to go back to its original configuration. If you turn off the car too quickly the mirror will stay dipped until you drive it for a few minutes.

😎 It is, I back up my car into the garage. Nice detective work! I'll check my mirrors and take my time before turning her off and I'll let you know. Thanks!

To clarify -- is the mirror remaining drooped when you are driving? If so, then it is something else entirely. I seem to recall that there were posts on this happening randomly couple years back, and I think that Nick Murray reported this as one of the problems he had on his 991.1 C2S (that ultimately was a lemon....). Have you searched the forums? Might have to go back in time quite a bit....

It does remain drooped, I'll backtrack a bit within the forums and see what info/solutions there are.
Thanks for the advice.
Went out today and took the car out and then backed her into the garage. I know some cars have the option of having the mirrors drop down a bit too assist in viewing when backing up , I don't have that feature. I did check the right mirror to see if it had dropped any and no, maybe it's been too soon. I checked the integrity of the mirror by seeing if it was loose or sloppy by touching it, nothing out of the ordinary there. I'll research the forums for further information. Thanks all.
Could it be some mirror setting saved to the key memory?
I don't believe so, I bought the car December of last year and this issue is just now coming up. One thing though that I will try out is there are two buttons to select which you want to control. One for the left and one for the right and then you use a separate keypad of sorts to manipulate the mirror movement. I always adjust the right mirror last and I'm wondering if the right mirror switch remains active after the fact and maybe there's some kind of electrical trickle issue or short slowly moving the mirror down. Obviously, there's more detective work on my end.
When I used to have a roommate, we would play practical jokes on each other. One of the things I used to do is move his driver's seat just one click, his mirrors just a bit, and his clock 3 minutes. Any chance of something like that going on? 🙂

Hahaha, I damn well hope not! Actually, that would make the solution so much easier, unfortunately I'm the only one who has access into the garage. 🙁
