Default 991.2 Cobb Tune Issue

Hey Gents -
Last March I did the stage 2 Cobb 91 Octane tune on my 2017 C4S. Car has GMG 200 cell cats and free flow exhaust. This is basically cats and a Xpipe so free flowing as possible. Also added a BMC airfilter so I'm fully compliant with Cobb's stage 2 requirements.
Problem: Cobb states that boost will be +20 PSI and my factory boost gauge will not go above 17PSI. This is basically factory level boost.
Anyone have this issue? Anyone with a tune seeing higher boost pressure on the dash LCD monitor? The Accessport boost monitor to me is not useful as it lists other boost parameters like "pre boost" etc.

Possible scenarios:
-Factory boost gauge regulated to stop at 17 PSI (Highly unlikely since entire range of cars uses the same gauge and canbus system)
-Cobb tune running into some issues
-Vehicle fault not allowing full boost (no fault codes and car runs perfectly except for the boost concern. 7k miles, lightly driven - condition excellent)

Before someone asks....
1. I did a search - didn't find anything relavant
2. Yes, I spoke to Cobb and they seemed confused (not to bash but pretty typical)
3. Yes, I re-flashed the ECU to Stage 2 91 octane again and confirmed it was running the latest version 1.06 stage 2

Important information: I am at 7000 ft elavation which should not matter to max boost - if tuned properly for wastegate / max boost.

Thanks in advance for any help. I am sending CSV log to Cobb to check it but I'm not really hopeful there's going to be a definitve fix unless I can get clear feedback from those of you with tunes to validate maximum boost you see on your dash gauge.
DR

Gauge will only read up to 17 psi.

Can you elaborate? How do you know it maxes out? The GTS and Turbo both use the same architecture and they read higher factory boost. I hope this is the answer, just want to validate.
Thanks for responding.

Your questions have been validated. You will NOT see 18psi+ on your gauge. If you want to see what your boost actually is, use the dataloging feature of the Accessport.

And I will verify that if you searched you would have seen what you are looking for since it has been discussed a few times. Cobb customer support has been helpful me to over the years as I have used their APs on several platforms.

Bob, No one searches. When you gonna realize that? If I take that response away from you what will you say going forward

I search! Otherwise I guess I will have to start saying "your spoiler is up" more often - which do you prefer?

Internal search, kind of a pain in the butt...
External searches like this, turn up great information, and usually more effective and efficient than posting and waiting for a response...

The boost gauge on the dash display is capped at 17psi. It's digital; that's where it's set from factory. Can't really code it to read higher yet (to my knowledge).
True boost will be shown on your logs or Cobb AP dash board.

The search tool works well.
I think it's a bit too advance for the age group for P-Cars

Ksdaoski - thanks. Actually very helpful and true about the search function. I found a piece of that thread that stated the boost gauge goes to 19PSI. I'm waiting for Cobb to validate the data log but they should know straight away the answer to the question I think. I mean they do this for a profession and should easlily have encountered this before right?

Hey guys, sorry I do search - like many, I find the forum search to be pretty crappy and frustrating. We come here to folks that enjoy cars so we can all share knowledge. When used properly a powerful tool and there are many great people on here. But... no one gets any value from being scolded to try searching. Why respond at all then? It never feels good to me to be a douche to another human looking for help, not sure what it is about the forums that removes that 'DB filter'. Maybe it's the fact that they don't have to look you in the eye.

So funny! Bob Z - just reading through some links that Ksdaoski was kind enough to send and it seems that you always troll the forum and your favorite response is "try search". In case you were wondering my response above was for you.
