No, I do not. And don't let the dealer wash it either. Mine is just a C2, not all that special, but the things one bad wash can do to a car are scary.

Oh the horror! No. Never.

I once allowed the dealer to wash it...a mistake.

Other that that experience, only I have washed it by hand.

Touchless only. One other thing to consider, the valve stems get damaged on wider tires

Never - but it is also my toy, not a daily driver.

Never, ever, let a dealer wash it! The lowest paid dude with an old straw broom is generally the "Detailer".

Oh , gosh no. Never.

If anyone is interested, here is a video I made containing essentially the most bare-bones wash you can do so you wont have damaged / swirly paint.

I’m not real OCD about this but no, I do not run my 911 through a car wash.

i also would not look askance at anyone who did.

”For me”, I find doing my weekly wash and wax on my car is a pleasant hour or two to myself. As my daily driver, I get a kick out of trying to keep it as clean and well maintained as I can. Only real challenge over the years is I’ve never found a good solution for dealing with German brake dust other than elbow grease lol.

Wash tunnel with brushes is a no no in my book. Brushless is also a no no because of very harsh chemicals. Do it yourself wash bay could be used in a pinch to rinse but having a power washer at home, a few buckets and some brushes and mitts, will get the job done with better chemicals and car will be treated better.

On road trips, I have taken mine a the self-serve car wash and used only the sprayer, sometimes soap and water, sometimes only water. I then let it air dry (preferably at speed!) so I don't risk trying to towel dry with any remaining grit.

I have a great detailer that does amazing work. He comes to the house. Even brings his own water.

My 911 is black and I never would. I take my black Cayenne through the car wash and the paint is trashed from it. That being said, the 911 is a weekend driver that has had the paint corrected and is ceramic coated. I enjoy washing by hand.

Most of the time hand wash myself as it’s a quite enjoyable experience on a sunny afternoon under the shades of our north facing garage with kid running around and messing with soapy water etc. But when needed or just not in the mood for an hour long wash no sweat taking it to a diy wash station either. As a it has a full wrap and b it’s my toy for relieving stress not the other way around.
