Farewell to My 991.2 C4S
And to all of you great Rennlisters. It's been fun, but I've wanted another air cooled 911 for about a year. I found a very nice 964 C2 (see avatar) with a fresh engine and windows out repaint in a good color. It did have ugly wheels so I had a set of 17" Fuchs waiting for it. I sold and just delivered my C4S an hour ago (sniff). What a great car--the best Porsche I've owned. But this 964 is tickling me in all the right places. It needs some stuff--it's 30 years old--but I'll put some love and money it and make it just right.
In the meantime, I've sold the DSC from the C4S and have just put a set of headers, sport cats, and carbon tips in the marketplace: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1188944

So many cars, so little time. Congrats and enjoy the "new" car. I would love to do that, but the Mrs would have me disposed of.

Funny, I’m going in the opposite direction. I sold my 993 after 8 years of enjoyment and I’m now on the hunt for a 991.2 GTS. Every Porsche fan should own an air-cooled 911 at some point. Enjoy!
