Default Almost Stealth V1 install

Finally Got around to installing the V1 in a mostly concealed way and mounted the remote display in the airvent. I had to make a custom 3D Printed component for the back of the remote display to clip it on to the vent.

Original V1 remote display mount

3D Printed airvent clip mount

Original mount vs 3D Printed mount

Mostly stealth

Visor mounted V1

Nice job man. Hopefully you can do the same thing for the Version two of the V1.

IS it for aesthetics of not wanting on the windshield or under your rearview mirror for wanting a "stealth look"? as it's legal in your state for use of it? Regardless of, cool ingenuity, I applaud you.

Thanks!

I wanted it to be as inconspicuous as possible, for break-in/theft deterrence. It is legal in my state.

This design is temporary since if you look close enough from the outside, you can see it mounted to the visor. I’m working on a design to either have it integrated to the rear view mirror as a 1 piece housing or mount it on the rear window so it looks like a 3rd brake light housing.

Kind of, sorting through some design ideas. Maybe wrapped in Alcantara. Stay tuned...

Nice.. only thing I didn't like about blendmount is there are no locks to prevent theft.

Very cool design and ingenuity. Most people do stick to the normal window/rear view mirror (myself included).

Honestly, I think I'd be worries about someone stealing the entire car before breaking into a 911 to steal the radar.

I do love the BlendMount. It's the best way to mount the V1 in my opinion.

Planning to pick up the newest V1. Still trying to figure out where to mount it. Have always used a Blendmount. It is such a clean install. I had a Max 360 though in my prior C2S and it was so bulky that it actually blocked some of the windshield and visibility. With the V1 being a bit slimmer, I am thinking it should be ok.
