I applied a 1-step polish (Sonax perfect finish) and coated with Kamikaze 1.0 with their Over Coat product as a protectant for the ceramic coating. Fairly easy for DIY with a little patience and while I couldn’t do much about some old issues with the paint I think it came out great for a 2013 with 44k miles.
Products came recommended to me by a Porsche owner and glad i spent a little more for these products.
Let me know what think and feel free to ask any questions if considering yourself. So shinny it’s hard to photo at home.
You are protecting your protectant with an overcoat of protectant?
Yes. The over coat is a sacrificial layer that is incredibly hydrophobic. Spray on once a month to once every 6 months as a drying agent and extends life of the ceramic coating. It’s 3 sprays into a towel and covers a panel. Pretty impressive what so little does.
You applied Sonax PF over the coating? And then topped it off with K 1.0 OC? Why did you polish the ceramic coating? It looks great!
Sorry if I was not clear. I left out some basic stages. First I washed car, applied Iron X and then re-washed. Once surface clean I used Gyeon prep to get ready for polish. I polished with the Sonax PF using a Rupee 6 inch polisher. After polishing I used Gyeon prep to clear surface. After the Gyeon prep I applied the ISM 1.0, waited 24 hours, and then applied the Over Coat. Total process was around 10-12 hours of labor.
will maintain with Gyeon Bathe to wash and apply over coat no more than once a month.

Gotcha. I thought you polished the coating and then topped it off with Over coat.
You mean Optimum No Rinse (ONR)? That is a great product. Works in diluted form to clean just about anything.
Yes, I guess that is just my nickname for it. I have OptiCoatPro on my car but ONR can be used on any coating. I bought a quart on ebay last year and since you dilute it down it will last a LONG time.
