Thumbs up Fabspeed 991.1 Carrera S Carbon Fiber Exhaust Tips

I had carbon fiber tips on my black Cayman S, and I thought they looked great so I ordered a set for my new to me 2012 991 Carrera S. Easy 15 minute swap. Very happy with the quality and how they look on the car. I think this will by the only modification I make to the car. On the Cayman, I was tempted to mod the crap out of it and could have easily have spent the same in mods that I paid for the car. The 991 is so perfect to me, that I just don't want to change it!

Nicely made and very well packaged.

New vs old.

New on left, stock on right.

In place.

I like!

You can use some small pieces of equal size wood or something similar (I used the non-bristle end of a toothbrush) to wedge in between the tips and the surround to hold them in place while tightening, which really helps to get them the same.

I found my thumb worked pretty well for this too.

Whatever works best! I actually tired a finger at first but found that since I was doing it myself I needed two hands to hold and wrench.
