Default Would you buy a car with Porsche Experience Center history?

Hey guys, I have a dilemma. I have finally found a perfect spec car with the options I wanted but something with it’s history didn’t make sense.
It’s a 2015 model but Carfax shows the car wasn’t sold until 2017 with 10k miles.
Gap of ownership concerned me so I started to dig deeper and based on my research I’m almost certain it’s a PEC car.
Car is currently on hold with CarMax and it’s extremely annoying that this type of info is not disclosed by them or Carfax.

My initial thoughts are to pass but maybe I’m over analyzing the problem since car was sold CPO in 2017.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Btw, this info gives me 0 bargaining power since it’s sold by CarMax.

It’s actually kind of interesting. I found another car while searching this topic. Both cars have identical build and very close production dates.

I would buy one if the price was right and the car was CPO'ed through a dealer.

Not sure I trust Carmax pricing to reflect true value.
What's up with this? https://www.carmax.com/car/17751168
Maybe if it had a 911 on the side?

10k miles could also be a Porsche Executive car or regional reps car. 10k miles sounds a bit high for experience center use, although sport exhaust, pdcc in red does sound like it could be PEC. I would avoid, if you are questioning it now, you may be questioning it for the rest of your ownership.

I went there, sort of. My kid got a charge out of it, I did it for him. People comment on it when I park, it's fun.
Adding context from carmax

No. Never.
Silly to even need it on the back. (I don't have it)
This guy must have been from the early 996 days when Boxters had the same front end.

There is really no need for any emblems on the cars but I like them and all of mine are custom - to each their own, but I still would not put them on the upper fenders.

Cars are supposed to be fun. Get creative! Who cares what someone else thinks?

It was sold at a GA auto auction in 2017. That makes sense if it was in Atlanta Pec.
