Default Bronze Turbo S wheel on GTS?

Am shopping for GTS and would prefer no centerlocks but most cars have that. I kind of prefer not having black wheels.

im wondering how the CL wheels would look if they were refinished to a bronze. Anyone have pics of one they can share?

Looks pretty good. The spoke details stand out more also.

I’m not good at imagining things and if I went bronze it would be on a black GTS.

I had them powder coated and had to choose a color from the literal dozens of bronzes offered by Prismatic Powders. So many different directions to go.

Black on bronze looks amazing! Even better than on white, I think. Just Google bronze rims on black cars or even better.... Go to HRE's website and select their gallery with bronze rims. Lots of sweet cars to look at. It's what I did. I tried to match one of HRE's bronzes as best I could.

Great tip. That’s what I’m looking for. I’ll check out the HRE site

I like the bright silver and black look. I think monochrome you lose the fineness of the spokes in the design. I bet if you did what is silver in bronze it would look killer.

That green Touring... that's just the winter set up with snow tires, right?

Turbo wheels are less aggressive offset than the GT3 but acceptable for winter. Have seen Porsche use them on a GT3 before with winter tires straight from the factory but I'm sure it was lack of availability.

I was in the same place as you, wasn’t sold on the black wheels. So I bought the Turbo S wheels, put them on and after a month realized that I like the black better.
I guess it’s a personal preference, but for worked well.

Thanks! I'll get pics of the whole car when I'm done paint correcting, etc. Gonna be a bit tho as we're dealing with some winter weather here.

In the meantime, here's another. She's all torn apart, but you can get an idea. Did the 40k service, added Switchback AWE and I replaced the front splitter due to some scrapes from PO.

Looks great!

So which Prismatic bronze did you use? It looks like Hallister Bronze UMB-6536.

I have the 5 lug wheels on my GTS and you can have those powder coated as well. Gives you a lot more aftermarket options with the 5 lug pattern as well.
