The red indicator on my "Auto" setting of my PDLS is acting funny. It's hit or miss whether it is on/off day or night. My 2016 Macan doesn't do this but I can't find indicator light functions in the manual.

Any ideas? How is this indicator light actually suppose to work?

The red indicator light above the auto setting is always on steady, day or night, when I have the switch in the auto position on my 14 991 and 19 Macan.

 

What year and model?

 

2013 991.1 4S

Confirmed my Macan auto light stays on... my 991 does not.

 

Could be a quick repair if the switch releases like other vw rotary light switch. I believe you push in and turn to left and it releases and can be pulled out. Might be a cheap diy repair.
