Default BEST parking tool!

I finally got fed up with all the parking booths being so tall for a 911. I hated having to risk scratching my wheels trying to drive so close to the curb so I could reach and pick up the ticket, and then again when I had to pay.\

So, I searched on Amazon and got this:

Yes, laugh all you want, but I used it today for the first time and it worked perfectly for what I wanted it.

No problems retrieving, and later inserting the ticket and my credit card.

I will carry this in my 911T as it is better than risking curb damage!

Amazon Amazon

Cheers!

good for picking stuff off passenger floor that got there from sudden stop. should be a Porsche option, could put in beside seat like the umbrella on passenger side. where do you keep it? need to make sure it doesn't move around, and make sure it doesn't scratch the seats. I may put one in my car...I have one from the dollar store. did they have silver ones

Haha, nice to hear another use for the reacher!

I keep the front inside the passenger side elastic mesh, and the handle between the passenger seat cushion and the center tunnel. It is nearly invisible there.

This post makes my night. Love it...had a good chuckle while realizing this would have helped me a number of times in various sports cars I've driven.

I’d laugh so hard if you used that to pay in a drive through. That would be pretty funny.

In my old 308GTB I could cruise right underneath the barrier arms in many parking garages.

It turns out that the telescoping radio antenna for a 308 costs about $100.

Do the tips have rubber or something on it? I have one from Harbor Freight and they are plastic, which would make it hard to grab something without fear of it slipping out.

I'm not laughing one little bit.

My wife is 5'2" and always needs to open the door and get out to reach anything like this. I'm less worried about curb rash than I am about actual dents if she opens the door into one of those yellow posts they always place around the ticket dispenser/mailbox/whatever.

I just ordered one. Thanks for the tip!!!
