Just picked up a GTS and like others not in love with the black wheels. These look great with the black center lock. My car is GT silver so wonder how that would look. Thanks for sharing looks awesome.

I've got the same. Though, I am starting to dig the black wheels more than the silver. Next set of tires, I may switch them around.

I drive my car, just turned 14k. I think these were done at around 8k, look like new.

Took me a while to get on the black wheel bandwagon. They always looked like spare or snow tires on the car. I can't remember when I finally came around. Probably when the larger rim sizes got popular.
But now that they are on every make of car, it's taken away from the look imo. Cheapens it a bit. Dilutes it. But that's how all things trendy go. Starts out as a novelty, then it becomes readily available and over used. Then we get tired of it and move on.
Some still look great with black rims. Especially when there are black trim parts, but I'm starting to get over them. That's why I went bronze.

Now when I see black wheels, I'm starting to see voids again in the wheel wells, like I used to.

^ Thanks for the feedback! Could be a FL vs CA or even Northern CA thing, as your roads may have less detritus and rocks? But I still wonder if paint has become softer for environmental reasons...which of course then prompts people to…repaint them (and maybe multiple times).

Any pics of your car with the bronze wheels?

Default Wheels

I didn’t think I would like black wheels after 2 911’s with standard color 20’s. I recentlytly purchased a 2018 base 911 with factory optional
black wheels. The car is Agate and I really like the look with the black wheels.

I'm working on paint correcting it right now so the spoiler, etc is off. Once it's all put back together, I'll get some full car shots. Here's just a pic of the bronze Spyder rim in the meantime

I put Avant Garde Ruger Mesh on my 997 C4S. They were awesome. I think I paid $1500 for the set in 19". They aren't for track use, at least I wouldn't use them there. But for street they were great.

I despise black wheels and you will never find black wheels on any of my cars.

These aren't the best pictures, but here is my T with 20" Rotiform's with polished lip and Porsche White Gold centers:

Here's my Nardo Grey Viper ACR with Nardo Grey Finspeed's (ignore the backward American flag)

My Volvo XC90 actually came with black and polished wheels and had them powdered silver
