Trying to decide if one short shift kit is clearly better (more enjoyable) than the other? Thanks for any insight.

assuming it uses the same one for 991.1. Get the Numeric Racing shifter, if it fits your budget for mods. It's worth the premium from my experience, I have had both and would have saved myself cash by just getting the best the first time. It is more than 2x the cost, but given the construction quality and shifter feel, it's a no brainer.

A quick search of this forum will give you information to make a decision, such as in this one (there are many more): https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1169...r-a-991-a.html

Go to my website and watch the videos of stock compared to Numeric Racing.. Its a 2017 991 GTS. So much more rigid and direct. Very Mechanical feel.

I prefer the Porsche short shifter kit over stock on my 2019 C4. More effort to move the shifter, stronger spring to center to neutral. Throws are a little bit shorter, but not by much. I didn’t order the Numeric shifter because it was more expensive to start with and I needed to add shipping to Canada plus USD to CAD conversion. I got the Porsche SSK for 320$ CAD at my local dealership and I am pleased with the mod. From the online reviews, the Numeric shifter is a better kit if you don’t mind the cost.
