In normal dry conditions how many days does the effect last before it needs to be reapplied? Do you use it on PPFs. The videos I have seen show it being applied to runoff which seems excessive and very wasteful, do you have it running off the car when you apply
Its so inexpensive ($30-35 per gallon delivered), I wouldn't worry about run off. I apply it as a detail spray nearly each and every time I wash my car, with little to no effort, adds approx. 5-10 to my wash routine with magnificent results. I have never tested how long it lasts and have no need to either.
The first application needs to be heavy, like you see in the videos, but then afterwards, I do about 2-3 sprays per panel. 2-3 to prime the towel and then work the rest of the car. Use a dry towel to buff as you go.
I do it every wash as a drying aid. It doesnt last too too long. On my DD M3 its once a week, on the 911, if I take it out once a week, I normally wash every other week.
I just bought 2 gallons on sale at Autogeek for around $25/gallon + tax delivered. Just started using it this week. Did my DD S550, wife's '08 A6, my 911, new Ranger and the plow blade. Snow definitely slid off the plow more readily this AM. I'm really impressed so far and, as said, the price is not horrible.
I use it after every wash on the Tesla over PPF and non-PPF. I bought a gallon to try since its so cheap. I spray it judiciously and dont worry about it. Easy on and off. Works good.
Plow blade! How quickly can you clear what height of snow on how long of a driveway?
first use yesterday was only about 3”. I had a couple times over the last five years my old Glacier on my 570 had a tough time. I can feel the power of the new machine and the hydraulic tilt is so nice. Takes about 20” to do 1200’ with a large circle on top. Not counting shovel touch up as needed.
I retreated the blade yesterday after it had dried off.
