How to obtain Service History?
Hello everyone, what is the best way to get a service history for a used car if the selling dealer didn't provide it?
Would a Porsche dealer be able to provide it?

Not really. The whole privacy issue has stopped so much of this. Have you run your VIN through the free MyCARFAX app on your smartphone? It might tell you a little of what you're trying to find out.

I'll try it, thanks Lex. Will this give me more info than the standard Carfax report? I have that.

I have had luck going to the service department with proof that I owned the car (registration, insurance, title, etc.) and they were able to email me the service records. I purchased my gt4 through a Mercedes dealer and the local Porsche dealer was able to help out-but not without proof that the car was mine.
