Default Passenger Window Switch Not Working

Hi everyone.

Bought my car unseen and noticed the passenger window switch isn't working, doesn't even light up at night.

The window works normally from the switch on the driver's panel.

Does this usually mean a new switch is required (seen them cheap on Amazon) or is it something as simple as a fuse.

Many thanks.

That happened to my car too. It required a switch replacement.

Did you fix it yourself or did you have the dealer do it?

The part is quite cheap but I’m not sure if the door panel has to be removed to fit it, or if it can be clipped in at the top.

Thanks.

I had the dealer change it out. CPO fix. Door panel needs to be removed.

Door panels are easy to remove. I actually had to remove the passenger side because a rubber wedge had fallen out of the holder after the dealer replaced the switch.
