Thumbs up It's been real..

After two years and a month of ear-to-ear grins driving the 991.2, I'm back to a Cayenne. Thank you for all of the advice, help, and interesting conversations! See you in the Cayenne 9Y0 forum.

Ha ha. Good luck! Been there. Done that. Two Macans later bought another 911.

P.s. Nice looking Cayenne H!

Four reasons:

1) I wasn't using the 911 for more than daily commuting in inner city Houston (if you've never been to Houston, most 3rd world countries / developing nations have better roads)
2) I recent got stuck on the side of the road for 4.5 hours waiting out flood waters on said commute
3) US dollar bills. The Feds paid me $6,700 dollars and Texas is tacking on another $2,500 to make the switch (I thank all of you US tax payers reading this for that gift).
4) My wife has been applying two years of pressure to get back into a "sensible and safe" daily driver. She's Russian American... ...she pulls no punches.

I would have told her,”I love you and I’m gonna miss ya”.Fortunately, my wife thinks my GTS is cool but a bit obnoxious (too loud)l. I’ll most likely get her into a Cayenne in a year or two. Congrats and we’ll leave the light on for you.

This makes me a little sad for you!! I have a 4 and 2 year old and my wife is applying pressure on me to buy dream car before I’m like one of my unfortunate young patients with horrible diagnoses. We both have sensible family cars (X5 and 335) so the 911 will be a pure selfish luxury. I’ll probably keep the 335 for the car seats, or sell it and get a small Japanese crossover. After I grow a pair and get the 911.
