Dash Cam with window tint
Hey guys,
Hoping someone had some recommendations. Just installed front window tint (made a huge difference here in LV) but now I'm not sure where to mount my dash cam. It's a small Anker C1 which is nothing fancy but works well for my purpose (has a shock sensor, decent video, etc.). Any ideas where to mount it? Options considered included:
1) Tint - Sticking the mounting plate directly onto the tint (I'm worried the tint might come off and also worried if I remove the plate I will damage the tint).
2) Blendmount - I have one coming for my R3; any ideas if I can fix the dashcam to the mount in addition to the Uniden R3 RD?
3) Headliner mount - Not sure if there's a bracket that will fit...and am worried that the weight of the dashcam may pull down the headliner.
4) A pillar - Unsure if there's a mount/bracket that would fit.
Thanks in advance for your help,
NF

I have tint and my dashcam hasn't pulled it off in two years. Pretty sure removal will be an issue though, not looking forward to that for an upgrade. I will likely cut around the original mount and put the new one over that patch.
