Default WTB 991.2 From Dealership

I am looking for a NEW 2018-19 911- C2, Cabroilet, S, 4S, possibly GTS or a TARGA form a Porsche dealer. I know it is slim pickens out there & my options are limited, oh well, my challenge I just don't dig the 992 interior.

I see on the Porsche USA website they have the country wide USED dealership search. They also have the search by zip code. The zip code one will take forever, PLUS you have to go into each dealership for an accurate inventory.... I tried it a few times. What is the fastest most accurate way for my quest besides going to every USA Dealerships website & search?

I guess my local dealer could have a more comprehensive search however I would have to go the trade route & it could increase the price.

Thanks!!

There are still a lot of 991.2 targas out there, and more coming in. 992 targa isn't on the lot yet.

I'm keeping a regular eye out for a very specific car. If you tell me what you're looking for, happy to keep an eye out for that too.

You can go to a site like CarGurus and look at all cars nationally. I've found setting up a search with my specific filters is the easiest way to locate something nationally, regardless of manufacturer.

I appreciate the assist as well. I'll get back with you. I have kind of a favorite, however a different one might pop up & grab my attention.

I thought the Car Guru & Cars .com type places had non Porsche dealerships you had to sift thru for used cars only. HMMM...My bad. Thanks

You can select to specifically look at new cars or used cars. Once you search under new, I haven't seen it provide responded beyond new Porsche dealers. And CarGurus has less ads than AutoTrader in my experience.

If I find something I like, I go to the dealer site for additional details or to contact the dealer.

Curious... with what you’re looking for, what are you hoping/looking to get off MSRP?

Here's one at my local dealer. They are a sponsor on here as well but could take a look at it in person if you were interested.

I would be using cars.com or autotrader.com or talking to one of the vendors on here that is a dealer. I would be looking for a decent bit off MSRP since they are trying to get these off lots for the new 992's that are arriving.

Porsche Salt Lake City Utah has a beautiful 2019 GTS manual transmission at 156k. They are offering 10k off and probably can get more if you push

A lot of new Targas? Those usually sell pretty fast, and the ones that are coming in just about all customer ordered cars. And you are correct - no 992 Targa on the lot, or in production either!

Stevenson Porsche in Littleton Colorado has a few Targas in case someone is looking.

In a different thread I posted some production numbers

Carrera 4 GTS
2019 267

Targa 4 GTS
2019 726

There were many Targa GTS produced in 2019. I’m sure there are many of them on the lots since some that I have seen were built out to 175-200k.

Wow, they have 2 manual Targas, one Black and one Blue with high MSRPs; however, neither have PCCBs, which is probably the reason they are still there since I assume most spending that kind of money would want them:

Just search on cars.com - there are literally 203 new 991.2 cabs available and 59 new targas listed for sale. It's really not that difficult?

As I indicated earlier when I thanked everyone for their input, I thought places like Car Guru & Cars.com were for used cars. Ok ??
