Default Parts location

Hi everyone. I am trying learn about my 911 but cannot find the right inform on my Bently manual.
The first photo shows 2 switches. They are located under the driver side under the ignition key slot. I know the black switch on the right side is the ignition switch. Does anyone know what is the big alluminum switch on the left with many wires? I noticed that there is an unplug wire below. I don't know if it should be plugged into that aluminum or not
If yes then where? There are 2 available slots.

2nd photo is from the Bentley manual. What are each of the 2 switches indicated by arrows for? It is from the steering wheel section of the manual?

Much appreciated.
