I havent driven a GT3 manual, but I did drive a GT4 manual. The car was a work out to drive and I knew right away that it wouldn’t work for me. Having driven a manual T, I find it quite nice (except for the special bucket seats that particular car had). Therefore, if you haven’t driven a manual GT3, you should test it out as it will feel much different from a manual T.

I'd stick with the T until you find a manual GT3 to your liking. I have a PDK GTS for DD and a GT3T for the weekends. I love both transmissions for different reasons. But it sounds like you are a real MT guy. If that is the case, I think you will miss your T and its driving engagement.

Yes, hold out for a 991.2 GT3 6MT. A Touring would be my recommendation.

I think this pretty much sums it up. If mostly track car, go GT3. If mostly street car, keep the T. Power is very easy to increase on the T. A tune with headers and high flow cats will be around 100whp gain at which point the T will have torque AND power.

Appreciated for all that have responded. Everyone hit the spot of my concerns which is giving up the manual solely for the "GT." I have no doubt on the PDK gearbox as I previously owned a Macan with PDK, they are lovely gearbox and I'm sure GT PDK are even better. But nothing like manual. I think I will continue to save up and find the right GT3 in the future!

For a DD o think the T hits more pluses. For a weekend or if you track a good amount go GT3.

i kinda think that GT3 is always the answer. if it's in your budget you can't go wrong.

No other comment other than i will own manuals as long as I can afford to buy one...they are superior in every way except on a track.

Keep the T and get a Cobb or other tune and make it a torque monster. Many don't want to admit it but torque is way more fun than high reving HP. Ask a professional racing driver, they will all say torque.

True, but manual makes it more involved, ie need to plan the shift and be smooth in order not to upset car. With PDK, downhill corner and off camber, PDK shift any time. With manual, better shift before corner.
For DE and other track event where i don't win money, manual. For racing event where I can win money I would have PDK but that is not in my future.

Professional Racing drivers also praised the 3.4 for its impressive torque.
