Default What are the best looking aftermarket wheels on the 991.2?

Hi all,

I know that changing out your wheels is a subjective topic but for those that are interested in doing so, which aftermarket wheels do you think look good on the 991.2 C2S? I've found that I seem to like the BBS FI-R / HRE P101 / HRE R101 style of wheel on this set up. Does anyone think classics like HRE 300s would look good? Or BBS LM-Rs? If you have any of your own setups, would love to see them!

I don’t have a 991.2, just a 991.1 on HRE P101SC brushed dark clear to give you an example.

The SC series should be lighter & more concave than the regular P101.

Yeah, I've seen your set at the Ottawa PCA meet. I'm debating maybe getting a lighter rim like the R101 or the FI-R

I'm partial to the R101:
Satin Charcoal on the GTS, Fashion Grey on the Cayman.

2012 Cayman R

Forgeline FU3C 20” (available in other sizes, too). I got them through Glaswerks http://gwdmv.com/

Thanks! I always liked the look of the 50th anniversary wheels. These are a nice modern interpretation of the classic Fuchs wheels and a little more concave (especially in the rear wheels) and 3D looking then the 50th anniversary wheels. The petals kind of float over the rim. I have received tons of complements on them from other 911 owners. Beautiful wheels.
