Porsche shops in CT
Im getting ready to do some upgrades to my GTS. Techart Aero and Soul sport cats plus some others. A shop that I had used for years in Seymour has been very disappointing the last few times so I need a change. Someone has recommended Speed Sport Tuning in Danbury, CT has anybody used them before or any other recommendations? Thanks guys

Dan Jacobs is another shop I've had very good experience with.

Through the CVR region Porsche club I have also heard that Musante Motorsports in South Windsor is also good.

If you are a member of CVR, check with some of the members for suggestions. If you aren't a member, you should join. Dan Jacobs, Musante Motorsports, Automobile Associates, and SpeedSport Tuning all immediately come to mind. Dan Jacobs has done some minor work on my 991. There is also Mortons Porsche in Stamford and Butzi in Milford, but I tend to think of them as more air cooled specialists.
I recommend auto associates in canton. Its funny though, they're in the middle of the woods in this super long building with new and old 911s everywhere, and racks and racks of parts. They hosted PCA/CVR in 2020 iirc and they had a pretty good turnout. Work they've performed for me on my 7MT clutch was without issue, and their prices are reasonable

I have had nothing but great experiences with Speedsport in Danbury and heartily recommend that shop for anything. They did a great job for me in a recent flat and damaged wheel, handling the whole thing (including insurance) with no issues. I take both my p cars there.
Ironically, I have an outstanding recommendation here. I needed a PPI last week and was introduced to Jimmy Repasi, Repasi Motorwerks in Stratford, CT. He's a long-time Porsche tech and is the "go to" shop in the whole country for Carrera GT's, but service all Porsche's and treated me like gold, despite just needing a PPI on a Cayenne.
My absolute highest endorsement and will take him my 911 for major service, despite the distance. First class operation.

Another endorsement for Speedsport here. They have a really high degree of proficiency for most European cars (though I think it’s safe to say they specialize in P-cars) and are excellent to work with. They work on all three of our cars and even manage to keep the Land Rover in good shape! Lots of eye candy to enjoy in the parking lot too which never gets old.
