Default Los Angeles area dealer?

Hello all,

First, thank you in advance! Had posted here awhile back about moving from my X5 to a 911. That day has finally come! I’ve successfully lease-traded my car away... so can finally make the plunge. I had also rented a 911 for a weekend from the LAX Hertz dealer and was just totally sold on the car.

I’m aiming to get into a 2019 base model and would be leasing. I’d love to hear of any particular contacts in the Los Angeles area in terms of recommended dealers/salespersons. Hopefully someone who is willing to do a good deal on the outgoing model.

Thank you in advance! Excited!

No to Beverly Hills Porsche. Google each one in your area and read the reviews, which may help a little until someone chimes in. Or search on LA dealer in this forum.

As an LA resident who bought, sold and referred many people to an LA area Porsche dealer, i would advise to avoid LA dealers - too much easy money. Either give CJ's dealer in Fresno a call or shop out of state, at least out of town, which is what I have done in my last new car transaction (non Porsche). Avoid being treated like a prey. You are a customer. My recent experiences and dealings with LA dealers is that they want preys, not clients, not long term relationships. Use the dealers to look for what you want in their lot, and then start calling around would be my humble advice. Good luck.

Poor experience with McKenna.

Good experience buying from Irvine Porsche.

i haven't found a decent dealer in the LA area and that's for all makes (Fiat has to be the worst of all). Ultimately I got my car from Beverly Hills but wasn't impressed. any one can have their car shipped so out of state shouldn't be a problem (btw leasing for P is horrid)

2nd...I ended buying my CPO in DTLA Porsche, but I only did that because they had the EXACT car I wanted. After I bought the car, they could care less about my business. I didn't feel valued AT ALL. I had much better experiences in the Bay Area.

I 2nd looking for cars outside of California.

Rusnak Porsche in Thousand Oaks. Just inside Ventura County and away from the LA rabble.

Ask for Carl Bell....straight shooter, good owner as well. Tell him Mike Summer referred you.

"the grass is greener, somewhere else" They didn't have the car I wanted in the Bay area. Found it at Rusnak Pasadena, they treated me well and I thought the price was fair. I'm a happy camper!

Second that on Rusnak/Westlake and Carl Bell. He won't waste your time and he'll be honest with you. Doesn't mean you'll get a "the deal of the decade," but you might. Depends on the car you're talking about.

I agree with Rusnak of Pasadena. I bought a CPO last month and they treated my wife and I very well. I would also recommend Porsche of South Bay! Stephen Rumph as Rusnak was great as was the sales manager.

When people ask to say so and so sent you, do you expect better allocations or something for giving them business?
