Nothing broke/replaced out of the ordinary.
- 3 Change Over Valves (1 on heater controls, 2 on air box flaps)
- Dash vents fell apart. (broken clips) - found broken clips on floor - strange.
- Gas struts on hood and engine lid replaced
- Both triangle rubber door window seals (split/cracked)
- Windshield washer hose broke where it entered the hood
- One Horn died - had both replaced.
- Had a few interior trim panel clips break
- A few squeaks and rattles which were sorted

Maintenance wise:
- 6 sets of tires
- 16 oil changes
- Battery replaced 5 years old.
- PDCC bottle replacement and belt - performed by dealer.
- Brake fluid flushes - performed by dealer.
- All other maintenance performed by me.

Thing I'm surprised about:
- Still on the original rotors and pads
- All control arms are still in good shape.
STILL ON THE SAME BRAKES AND ROTORS? I have 70k miles and on my 3rd set of both LOL

and...I'm still on my original front set of pads and rotors...Porsche replaced the rear rotors and pads under warranty on account of a warped caliper

You're not driving it nearly hard enough if you're on the original pads/rotors @ 100k.

I think it's all about the PDK. It puts me in the right gear at the right time when I'm zipping along on the back roads and I was truly amazed when I did my one track day a few years ago.

A thread like this would never exist on a Ferrari forum, and that's what I love about Porsche and Porsche owners!

Bought my 2012 991.1S with 32k miles a 10 months ago and have 43k on it now. Nowhere near what other folks in this thread have done, but hopefully I'll get there someday. Miles = smiles.

One never wants to drive hard, only quickly and smoothly. Worn out components do not equate to motoring prowess or even experience, often it reflects the lack of both...

"Windshield washer hose broke where it entered the hood"

Mine just did this as well. Looks like it pinched at the hood and cut the hose. Time to head for a CPO repair . . .

Even w/o CPO it looks like a simple repair. Whenever this happens again I might repair with a different type of tubing altogether.

I did the washer hose replacement myself, even though it was a CPO issue. $20 for the part from the dealer, but more importantly, 5 minutes of work vs. having to drive it in, drop it off and all of that nonsense.

It's very, very easy.

I had to replace my rotors at 30k miles. I guess entering a turn in 95 degree heat with ABS kicking in shows that I am pushing the car.....lol

Front/rear hood struts
COV (2 each) 1-heater, 1- exhaust

Engine fan compartment (left)
Cowl beneath windshield replaced (faded)
Plastic beneath rear windshield replaced (faded/cracked)

Haven't been adding too many miles given the my mandatory work-from-home and just generally coronavirus concerns keeping me at home more.

I have to disagree here. Brakes wear out very quickly when driven "well." Yes, you want to be smooth in both braking and application of throttle but even when you brake smoothly, a key to a fast lap time is to brake as late as possible, as hard as possible to start and then progressively and smoothly release pressure on the brake pedal as you enter the turn (and usually trail brake til the apex) and then as soon as you can roll on the throttle, to do so smoothly. Add in what the TC does to rear brakes on these cars and those things get chewed up faster than you would expect.

Now, I agree that you cannot equate worn out pads and rotors with prowess, but if you are driving fast (on a track as the poster here said he had at least once), those brakes will be getting worn down quickly. Same on a spirited canyon drive (to a lesser extent), etc.

Now, I'm not claiming I'm a driving god (I'm not), but I've never gotten more than 15k out of a set of rotors and pads.
