I think the right stripe, in the right color, put in the right spot can work and it is an easy on and off if you tire of it. But you should follow the traditional layout, under door to just ahead and behind on rear and front quarter. No stripe up front as it's floating there and looks odd.
They are inexpensive, take them off and try again. If you like them don't ask for opinions or you will get confused. It's your car either it works for you or it doesn't.

Not yet do you want it LOL . I guess this a perfect example of be careful of what you ask for .
Plus it’s kind of like sex I only have to please myself really

 

It’s just not right. But I have a image in my head from what has been done in the past. If you like it , then go with it, but any Porsche guy will have a confused look when they see it.
