Does a 2019 CS manual without sport chrono but with a sport button have auto rev matching?
My 718S has sport chrono. It’s a manual. What features does sport Chrono give you that a manual CS with sport button would not have? What’s the sport button do?
No rev matching. Sport will behave like sport + in a non chrono car.. If that makes sense.
You'll get the raised idle, snappier throttle input and burbles in the exhaust. You also get the howl sound when you engine brake. Kinda sounds like a hum.

Thanks, what about the T, is auto rev matching standard on it? Or does it need sport Chrono also?
Just put down a deposit on a new Jet Black T in cincinnati 3.5 hours from me. Will be driving my 718S friday to trade it for the T. 41 miles on the T's odometer.
I honestly am not sold on ceramic coating. I actually prefer Top coat F11. Ceramic coating doesn't leave the surface anywhere near as smooth. I have a car ceramic coated and its okay for repelling dust. Top Coat F11 works much better on keeping dirt off. Have to re-apply more often but I enjoy doing that., and layering it makes it more effective.

The engine response as stated is phenomenal. Above 100mph it feels more planted. The sound is amazing. The gearbox (7M), is so smooth and I love the short throw and close ratios.
Looks great. Just curious what makes this that much better than your 718 S? A lot of people really like the cayman platform.
Having come from a 981 CS I had the same initial hesitancy. But PTV and RAS, which admittedly the purists aren't fans of, really negate some of the negative physics of the rear engine design. Even without them, the 911 platform has gotten to be progressively less rear engine biased over the years anyway. The 911 feels ever so slightly larger than a Cayman, but the cockpits are basically the exact same at this point. It's all about the engine and what you can spec on a911 that, for me, make all the difference. Particularly now that the non GT mid engine cars have lost a couple cylinders and a bit of spirit in the sound department.
Absolutely agree at the > 100 planting. After that point, even these street based cars sort themselves out even more and inspire a lot of confidence.
