I haven't looked at this thread in a while.....
I didn't buy/lease the Aston. Decided to hold off.
I started looking at used 2015-16 Vantage GT but also decided to hold off.
THEN I went with my brother to pick up his new C7 Grand Sport and I bought one....
2019 Sebring Orange manual and I love it....
Its faster around the track than my Carrera T with a Cobb tune...
So now I have too many cars....again.
Got another lift and I'm building a second garage too.
Wife will have her garage for the Audi RS5 and Navigator and I will stuff the new garage with my 911, C7, Spyder, and Range Rover using 2 lifts. But will be selling the 356 Speedster replica as soon as I have time to list it for sale.
Maybe there will be a used Vantage in the cards for the future but really want a manual. Not sure if the manual in the Vantage will be what I really want.
Also considering selling the T and looking for a GT3 again.....but likely I will just hang tight for now. I genuinely like all the cars I have at the moment and I am not tired of any yet.

The above poster who raised the issue with mileage/resale was very correct. I was just in this market and looking mostly at Ferraris and a few other makes. It ended up coming down to 911s and NSXs because those were the only two that really seemed to be capable of being driven to relatively "normal" mileage levels without crossing a line where they became scary to future private party buyers.
I think the Vantage is a pretty eye catching car, but I'd only go for it if it's a car/brand you've really lusted after for a long time. Otherwise, I think there are so many directions you can go at that price point that it wouldn't float to the top of my list.
