Default PPF problem

My installer is having problem getting the film to stick on front bumper in air scoop curves and angles .. it seems to shrink back and bubble up and pull away from corners. They are using 3M PPF . They are using a single piece for bumper from lights to bottom edge of bumper . They are suggesting cutting it around turns to make it lay down . Any thoughts are suggestions
I have sport design front bumper with 5 scoops

Are they hand cutting the film or are they modifying the downloadable designs and using the plotter?

think that's a pretty good sign to find another ppf installer. mine never had issues nor did i ever heard people having issues with curve. Either way, they should ALWAYS install in 1 piece, ain't suppose to be a puzzle

actually the precut for front bumper is in two piece, so he must be using precut film not custom wrap, nothing wrong w/ that , just more expensive to do a custom 1 piece

A really good installer wouldn't even be asking you this question. At the end of the day though, it depends on whether you're OK seeing the relaxing incisions in the film or not. I also purchased pre-cut 3M film online and needed to make relaxing cuts to fit over the curves, but I saved a lot $ compared to what I would pay a pro and I'm OK with the appearance. Covered with bugs and road debris, I can hardly see the lines anyway. Depends on your priorities- $ vs looks.
