I did a quick wrap of the chrome ring around the ignition to see what it looks like but I am not sure I like it since the when the dummy key is in (on loan to my painter) it does not stand out and since it is curved the wrap does not adhere well.

I think it's time for Miami Blue dead pedal, clutch, brake and accelerator pedals

Ha! I literally just came back from the car taking measurement of the ashtray cover (I wish I knew how to remove it!) and I wondered how it would look if the recessed vertical strips in the pedals would look in Miami Blue! They would probably get dirty quick and the wrap may not stick well...I would not paint them. Nice thing about wrap is one can change their mind and revert to original easily!

I have the Rennline aluminum pedal set in the 911, it helps to lighten up the otherwise dark hole down there. Some blue accents could do the same, if there was some way to get the wrap to stick, dead pedal would be easiest. (Hey, maybe I'll give it a try in my guards red Boxster!)

So do I actually. No one will see it much, including me, but I like adding my personal touch. It would have been easier to do though if I were able to take the pedals out, which I am not sure is even possible but knowing Porsche (and federal regs) it is probably not easy either!

I think that looks awesome! You'll notice every time you get in the car.
IIRC when I installed the Rennline pedal kit, both the OEM dead pedal and accelerator pedal are left in place, and the aluminum parts are just screwed on top. The OEM clutch and brake pedals are actually just booties that slip off.

Thanks all! Every time I think I am done incorporating Miami Blue something else arises, but that should be it this time. And if what I did starts coming off I will remove the pedals and redo it all since it will be easier to get them lined up better if I can do them outside the foot well.
